CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources Bureau for Public Health Commissioner and State Health Officer Dr. Letitia Tierney today announced the Division of Rural Health and Recruitment will celebrate National Rural Health Day on Thursday, November 21, 2013 by hosting a Health Professional Recruitment Fair to assist health facilities in securing sufficient staffing for rural West Virginia.
"Administrators from healthcare facilities from across the state will be in Charleston to talk with health professionals about employment opportunities in West Virginia," said Tierney. "Healthcare facilities participating in the job fair are looking for positions including practicing or resident physicians, interns, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, LPNs and RNs, occupational and physical therapists and office staff."
