West Virginia has entered the 2015-2016 flu season.   As students across West Virginia will be heading into the fall holiday season in November, West Virginia’s top health and education leaders are joining forces to encourage parents to have their children vaccinated against the flu and to share flu prevention tips that will help stop the spread of the virus.
 
A student from Piedmont Elementary is set to receive a flu vaccination (on-camera) during the event.
 
The joint press event is scheduled for Monday, October 26 at 9:30 a.m. at Piedmont Elementary, 203 Bradford Street in Charleston, West Virginia.
