HIV Surveillance


HIV/AIDS Disease Surveillance 

The mission of this surveillance program is to:  
  • Ascertain HIV/AIDS cases in West Virginia
  • Identify emerging trends
  • Investigate modes of transmission
  • Maintain a secure and confidential database

HIV/AIDS case reporting must be completed in a timely and accurate manner for the mission to be accomplished.
