    September is Recovery Month which promotes the societal benefits of prevention, treatment, and recovery for mental and substance use disorders, celebrates people in recovery, lauds the contributions of treatment and service providers, and promotes the message that recovery in all its forms is possible.     September 3rd through 7th 2012 is National Suicide Prevention Week sponsored by the American Association of Suicidology. Events in communities around the country will promote suicide prevention and raise awareness on issues related to the silent epidemic of suicide. For more information visit
