Aged and Disabled Waiver Program (ADW)
is a long-term care alternative that provides
services that enable an individual to remain at or return home rater than receiving nursing home
care. The goals and objectives of this program are focused on providing services that are person-
centered, promote choice, independence, participant-direction, respect, and dignity and community integration.

Aged and Disable Waiver Comments and Responses
Below is a compiled list of comments the Bureau for Medical Services (BMS) received regarding the proposed five year application for the Aged and Disabled Waiverwhich was out for 30 day public comment ending at 5:00 p.m. on April 17. BMS has made responses to the comments which is included in the document below. The Waiver application has been submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for their review. Once BMS has received the approved application it will be posted on this website.
