The SMAC pricing that was applied effective 12/01/2012 to some WV Medicaid Preferred Brand NDC’s has been removed with a backdated effective date of 12/01/2012. This applies to the Brand named NDC’s of the products listed on the
SMAC Corrections List
If you processed claims for these preferred Brand products since 12/01/2012 and were reimbursed at a SMAC rate, you may choose to reverse and reprocess those claims for a reimbursement at the non-SMAC rate.
