The award celebrates grant making that has changed lives and communities for the better. Try This West Virginia’s Mini-Grant Collaborative was recognized “for their exemplary work in their grant making program by building a critical impact on the local, regional and state levels.”
Philanthropy West Virginia was deeply impressed by the level of collaboration and coordination demonstrated, and by the enormous leveraged impact achieved by the Try This Mini-Grant teams.
HPCD supports the Try This West Virginia Mini-Grant Collaborative and serves on the selection committee and is a member of the Try This Movement steering committee. The Division of Health Promotion and Chronic Disease is part of the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health, West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.
