Reporting Guidelines:

  • Invasive community-associated MRSA: reportable to the local health department within one week
  • Vancomycin-resistant or intermediate Staphylococcus aureus: reportable to the local health department within 24 hours
  • Outbreaks: reportable to the local health department immediately
