The figure below shows the number of confirmed Healthcare-associated outbreaks by month of report in West Virginia during 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. The figure below shows the number of confirmed Healthcare-associated outbreaks by type of outbreak and month of report in West Virginia in 2014. Types of outbreaks are classified into four main categories (Respiratory, Enteric, Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms (MDROs), and Rash outbreaks). MDRO outbreaks can be respiratory illness, enteric illness, urinary tract infection, skin infection, or any other infections. Outbreaks categorized as MDROs are not counted under other categories.
