Authorities notifying patients of potential exposure to measles at 2 Rhode Island hospitals

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island — Authorities are tracking down and notifying people who may have been exposed to a patient with measles at Rhode Island Hospital and Roger Williams Medical Center.
The Rhode Island Department of Health said on Saturday that the patient visited emergency rooms at the two hospitals last Sunday.
The first potential exposure occurred at Rhode Island Hospital, between 3 and 6 a.m. The patient presented with fever, fatigue, nausea and aches.
