New School Requirements 2012

Beginning in the fall of 2012, West Virginia 7th graders and 12th graders will have to show proof that they have had their Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) shot in addition to their MCV4 or Meningitis
shot(s).  High school seniors will need a second dose of MCV4 or the meningitis vaccine if the first shot was received before their 16th brithday.

Parents of incoming West Virginia 7th and 12th graders should speak with their health care provider or their local health department to make sure that their child has all of the shots that they need for next school year.
